Rina Sawayama Releases ’John Wick: Chapter 4″ Song “Eye for an Eye”
The Japanese-British musician also stars in the film.
With the release of John Wick: Chapter 4 on the horizon, Rina Sawayama has released a new song, “Eye for an Eye”, which appears on the movie’s soundtrack.
Filled with an electric guitar and pulsating drum arrangement, the song aptly channels the franchise’s action-packed cadence. “An eye for an eye/A life for a life/I’ll see you in Hell on the other side,” sings Sawayama in the song’s chorus – showcasing Wick’s fighting storyline alongside the theme of retribution and freedom.
With the new installment of John Wick, Sawayama joined the cast as a fighter named Akira Shimazu, which marks the Japanese-British musician’ acting debut. In addition to Keanu Reeves and Rina Sawayama, other cast members include Donnie Yen, Laurence Fishburne, Halle Berry, Lance Reddick, Scott Adkins, Asia Kate Dillon and more.
