Hender Scheme and G-Shock Release Collaborative DW-6900
Featuring a midnight black color scheme and a special band made of black bridle leather.

Hender Scheme and G-Shock are joining forces for their third collaboration: a special take on the classic DW-6900. Following a DW-5600 collaboration in 2018 and a DW-5750 in 2020, both of which featured a light color palette centered around Hender Scheme’s signature natural leather, the DW-6900 opts instead for an all-black color scheme that’s set off by its special strap.
This strap is made of black bridle leather, a full-grain veg-tanned leather variant that’s most commonly used on horse harnesses. It’s also equipped with a waxed finish that’ll gradually wear off with use — making for a beautiful patina effect — and silver hardware. For less adventurous wearers, the watch also comes with a standard black resin band. Last but not least, the watch features custom Hender Scheme branding on its face (visible when its glow-in-the-dark feature is activated), the back of its case and the underside of its band.
Like the last two Hender Scheme x G-Shock releases, the Hender Scheme x G-Shock DW-6900 is only available in Japan. Interested parties can enter a purchasing lottery until March 12, winners will be notified on March 14 and shipping will commence on March 17. The watch is priced at ¥31,900 JPY (approximately $238 USD), inclusive of tax.
