Tiffany & Co. has been at the top of the news this week with its most recent reveal of its Nike collaboration. While they have been capitalizing on the press from the collaboration, building anticipation for the upcoming drop, there has also been big news coming from the management side of the American jeweler. WWD has reported that Ruba Abu-Nimah, Tiffany & Co.’s executive creative director for marketing and communications has departed the brand.

Abu-Nimah first joined Tiffany & Co. in March 2021, reporting to Alexandre Arnault who was the executive vice president of product and communications, following LVMH’s takeover that January. When Abu-Nimah joined the company, she was part of the new creative leadership strategy LVMH put in place. She was set to oversee the visual creative assets (not involving product design), including website design and imagery, social media content and advertisements.

In the past, Abu-Nimah has had experience in senior and executive roles at Revlon, Elle US, Bobbi Brown, and Shiseido making her a great fit for Tiffany’s new strategy. During her time at Tiffany’s, she has been best known for headline-making campaigns including “Not Your Mother’s Tiffany” posters. Both Tiffany & Co. and Abu-Nimah have not yet commented.
