nanamica and REGAL Shoe & Co. Reunite for Their Fourth Collaboration
GORE-TEX plain-toe shoes arrive in navy and black.
nanamica, known for its “timeless standard wear,” is teaming up for the fourth time with REGAL Shoe & Co., the line from heritage Japanese footwear brand REGAL that reimagines classic leather shoes for today. The collaboration introduces the GORE-TEX Plain Toe Shoes.
Building on the concept behind their previous collaborations, this model features a highly waterproof yet breathable GORE-TEX membrane. Its formal closed-lace design is paired with lightweight, flexible stitchdown construction for the easy comfort of deck sneakers. An oblique last, also used for REGAL’s REGAL WALKER line, provides a roomy fit that follows the natural shape of the toes.
The upper is made from cowhide leather tanned by Japanese tannery Sanyo. The navy version pairs navy velour with white stitching and a white sole for a nautical feel, while the black style features smooth leather with matching stitching in a tonal finish. A Vibram mini-ripple outsole and Ortholite® insole material add cushioning underfoot.
The nanamica x REGAL Shoe & Co. GORE-TEX Plain Toe Shoes will be available from Friday, September 25, at nanamica DAIKANYAMA, nanamica D.W.S., nanamica KYOTO, nanamica KOBE, nanamica FUKUOKA, the nanamica official online store, and other retailers. They are priced at ¥55,000, including tax.
