Everyone has a project from their past that was left unfinished. The multifaceted singer-songwriter and performance artist Solange is unveiling her most ambitious sculptural work yet: a public exhibition that conducts electricity and changes over time through human energy. Her large-scale sculpture builds on an unfinished piece from her 2019 Venice Biennale performance “In Past Pupils and Smiles,” reflecting her decade-long interest in using sculpture to broaden performance into everyday audience interaction.
Pink Pantheress, the 25-year-old multi-platinum recording artist and producer, is tapping into nostalgia yet again for her project. Drawing on early-2000s UK garage music and club culture, her energetic sound is now extending into fashion, as she reinvents her go-to footwear — ballet flats — into colorful, customizable statement pieces, blending nostalgia with innovation.
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is combining his strategic gameplay and precision with his love for geology and chess — developing a bespoke crystal and marble chess set.
