Nike SB Is Entering Its Cream and Gray Box Era

Say goodbye to the multi-colored striped boxes.

One of the nuances of Nike and its Nike SB label that die-hard sneakerheads have paid attention to since its inception in 2002 is its shoe boxes. They’re time capsules for the sub-label because fans can identify the era in which certain colorways and collaborations were released based on the box’s exterior colors and design whether it was pink, silver, black and purple etc. In recent years, Nike SB has been housing its Quickstrike launches in multi-colored striped boxes, but those will soon become obsolete as images of a new cream and gray box have appeared.

Understated in every sense, the box is predominantly covered with a cream hue and features various Nike SB branding across the lids and the sides of the base which are doused in gray. Inside, you’ll find the standard issue tissue which features crispy white paper and faint gray woodgrain patterns presented in all-over fashion.

Nike SB still has to confirm what launches will come in this fresh design, but there is a chance that it could be used for some of the brand’s anticipated SB Dunk Low collaborations with Jarritos, Born x Raised or Run the Jewels.

For more news, a duo of Nike SB Dunk Low colorways have been teased.
