slowthai Is Going on a £1 GBP Tour of UK Pubs
Featuring six dates across February and March.
British musician slowthai has announced that he will be touring a selection of pubs throughout the UK — and tickets will be on sale for one pound.
The rapper has just announced his third studio album UGLY, while also sharing his first single from the project “Selfish,” and now, the artist has confirmed six dates for his Best Night Of Your Life pub tour. The tour will commence on February 28 at the Independent pub in Sunderland and will finish at The Black Prince in slowthai’s home of Northampton on March 3.
This new pub tour marks the second time slowthai has offered super cheap tickets for his listeners. Back in 2019, the rapper toured another selection of pubs — with tickets costing 99p — in celebration of his debut album Nothing Great About Britain, and when announcing the dates, he said: “I’ll come to every pub; your dad’s working men’s club — I just wanna see all of you and connect.” In addition to the first 99p tour, Thai also held a five-pound ticketed tour in the same year.
Now, slowthai has connected with drinks brand Jagermeister to keep ticket prices at one pound for his new tour, and speaking on the matter he said: “It’s important to me that people can have access to me and my music.” You can check out the full list of tour dates below.
