GANNI Flourished Into a Butterfly for FW23
The imprint spreads its wings and flies this season.

Closing out Copenhagen Fashion Week, GANNI welcomed guests into the capital’s iconic ARKEN museum and prepared to spread its wings and fly for its Fall/Winter 2023 collection. This season, GANNI entered a revolutionary state, looking to its personal growth since its establishment.
Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup debuted the brand’s all-new butterfly symbol and was inspired by the insect’s ever-changing life stages. GANNI is all grown up and reflects its wise experiences through elevated suiting, sexy details, and a mature color palette. A collarless suit was the first look sent down the runway, featuring gilded chain ornamentation and double-layered trousers. Skin-tight dresses followed, boasting fringed detailing that swung back and forth, while slouchy denim garments donned distressed elements and a rugged finish.
GANNI kept inclusivity at the forefront through and through, enlisting models of all shapes and sizes to grace the runway. The polished line previewed a line-up of party-ready garments for ravishing nights out, from shimmering long-sleeve gowns to animal-printed wool sets and snakeskin corsets matched with metallic bottoms and embellished cowboy boots.
Cozy knitwear strolled alongside multi-colored velour and branded utilitarian looks made in collaboration with 66North, while the brand also debuted a new vegan bag made from Ohoskin — produced by oranges, cacti, and recycled plastics. Finally, dazzling jewelry by Veneda Carter adorned every look with an elegant breeze.
