When Malbon Golf launched six years ago, it was a mostly underground brand that you probably only knew if you were versed in LA’s streetwear and skate scene. But that has changed in a big way, because nowadays it’s a rare occurrence when its collections don’t sell out within hours.

A strong 2022 and opening to 2023 has seen the brand continue to heighten its mainstream visibility by appearing in the most recent PGA TOUR 2K23 game and outfitting ScHoolboy Q for the entirety of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Now the brand has reached another milestone, announcing its first official sponsorship of a professional golfer. Arriving just in time for Malbon’s inaugural women’s line, 21-year-old Yealimi Noh will represent the brand and sport the signature buckets logo throughout the 2023 LPGA Tour season. It’s a key moment for the label in its push to bring younger and more diverse segments into a sport that sorely needs it.

Noh and brand founders Stephen and Erica Malbon first met at the Evian Championship in France, where the brand awards a pink bomber jacket to the winner and provides items like bucket hats to the entire field. When Noh makes her 2023 debut, expect to see her pair Malbon’s threads with her footwear brand of choice, Nike, and signature silhouettes like the Air Max 90 G.
