Salomon Drops New XT-SLATE Sneaker With Wood Wood
Coming in two colorways.
With Salomon, the attention towards to functional, yet technically attractive silhouettes remains a mainstay across its catalog. Now, the French brand is expanding its roster by uniting Wood Wood to present a brand new silhouette titled “XT-SLATE.”
Making a fused presentation of both brands’ styles, the silhouette was first teased at Wood Wood’s FW23 runway show earlier this month during Copenhagen Fashion Week. Coming in two colorways, the first up is an earth-toned variation with cuts of brown and Nightshade panels. The second colorway is washed in calm pewter, a sliver of jade green, deep brown and eye-catching Biking Red panels.
From a construction standpoint, the mixed-media silhouette features a mesh upper and a togged lacing system. Additional details include a reverse chevron lug pattern, Salomon’s Advanced Chassis system and a Contagrip outsole.
Check out the gallery above for a closer look at the new silhouette. The XT-SLATE is available now at Wood Wood stores. The Black/kelp/nightshade iteration is available also available now online, and the Bikiring Red version launches on February 13.
