2K Games has officially announced the release date for the upcoming golf simulation title, PGA Tour 2K23.

It was recently announced that legendary golf champion Tiger Woods was chosen to be the cover athlete of the game. The announcement comes as no surprise since he had previously signed a multi-year deal with 2K Games. This will mark the first time since Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 that he is being featured in a video game.

Both the Tiger Woods and Deluxe editions of PGA Tour 2K23 are set to release on October 11, with the standard version arriving on October 14. With each purchase of the game for either a Sony or Microsoft console, each version will include the previous generations of the game for the respective consoles. It is important to note that the Tiger Woods edition is available only digitally but will include all the features from the Deluxe Edition. Tiger Woods’ presence includes the golfer being an in-game pro and even the opportunity to be an executive director advising on team development. Gamers will also be able to play against another sport great, Michael Jordan. The 2K23 version features an elite group of talent which include, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Jon Rahm, Lexi Thompson, Lydia Ko, Brooke Henderson and more.

Elsewhere in gaming, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake has reportedly landed at New Developer.
