Following his Piccolo concept, custom sneaker designer, Andrew Chiou, has now returned with another Dragon Ball Z-inspired concept. Focussing on the popular Nike Dunk Low sneaker once again, the latest concept captures the look of Majin Buu.

The genie-like magical life form is defined by his multiple personalities and distinct bright pink look accented by his head antenna and pores.

Andrew Chiou’s Nike Dunk Low Majin Buu concept features a pink base detailed with lighter tones to match the animated appearance of the villain turned Z Fighter. Further detailing includes select holes at the toebox region and panels that reflect the tones of Buu’s vest, pants, cape, boots, and cape. Aside from the usual midfoot Swooshes, tongue tags, “NIKE” embroidery at the rear, and printed insoles, the tongues feature the Majin “M” motif.

Finishing up the design of the shoe are pink sockliners, purple laces, weathered off white tone midsoles, and contrasting dark yellow rubber outsoles.

Take a look at Andrew Chiou’s Nike Dunk Low Majin Buu concept below.
