Exclusively unveiled by HYPEBEAST KOREA, 99%IS-‘ upcoming VOL.17 “I am 99%. From 1%.” collection celebrates the label’s 10th anniversary. The expansive Fall/Winter 2022 and Spring/Summer 2023 range serves to reinterpret styles from 99%IS-’ last 10 years.
Marking its reinterpretation of past designs, the South Korean label introduced its take on “RIP,” rest in peace, the Latin requiescat. “REST IN PUNK” tombstone graphic is expressed in a variety of ways and shares the 99%IS-’ outlook on the everlasting nature of punk styling.
The VOL.17 “I am 99%. From 1%.” collection is defined by designer Bajowoo‘s contemporary take on different genres of punk, tied cohesively by a focus on select color schemes and extensive detailing. Standout elements include the placement of heavy hardware and 99%IS-’ take on crust punk patchwork.
