Returning to shelves in 2024 for the first time in seven years.

Nike has quietly reintroduced the Air Foamposite One to the sneaker market with releases such as the “Dream A World” touching down on shelves this year. Looking ahead to 2024, it looks to be ramping up its releases for the silhouette with classics such as the “Galaxy” colorway making a much-anticipated return. The “Eggplant” colorway is another pair that has been rumored, and was later confirmed in Nike’s first-ever SNKRS Showcase for 2024. While the release of the stealthy “Anthracite” look is just around the corner, Nike has officially revealed the 2024 iteration of the “Eggplant.”
Aligning it with the two previous releases that took place in 2009 and 2017 respectively, the “Eggplant” colorway kicks things off with its signature upper carrying a metallic purple finish. From there, black outfits the eyestays, collar, laces and tongue. Supporting the sneaker, its outsole utilizes an icy, semi-translucent blue alongside a black tread to complete the pair.
At the time of writing, Nike has not yet confirmed a release date for the Air Foamposite One’s return in “Eggplant.” Stay tuned for updates as we currently expect it to release as part of the Swoosh’s spring 2024 lineup at a starting price of $240 USD via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
