After two successful seasons, Kappa® brings its documentary-style “Winning Starts Within” campaign to the world of team sports.

Having previously enlisted a variety of athletes from its sponsored teams to share their inspiring stories of overcoming personal hurdles, the sportswear brand has now tapped the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team for its latest episode.

The campaign aims to highlight the power that inner strength has on athletes by asking questions like How do you eliminate distractions? and What do you need to focus? Using these as some of the main talking points in the series, Kappa champions the importance of mental well-being in performance sports by unpicking the personal processes that each athlete undertakes in their day-to-day.

With this season’s concept being “Breathe Deep” — the campaign explores how they keep their minds clear in preparation for competitions. Delving into the heart-racing moments before dropping in, it examines how each athlete works on their concentration levels to reach a mental state that allows them to perform at their best. From a moment of introspection to the feeling of victory, Kappa® follows the team on their road to success.
