Kappa’s connection to football goes back decades; more specifically, 47 years, when it became the main sponsor of Juventus football club. Since then, the Italian brand’s imprint on the sport has developed, adapting its signature sportswear to the teams it outfits and the way fans dress.

For 2026, Kappa focuses its efforts on making jerseys and kits bolder in design. Tapping into nostalgic trends, historical symbology, and even alternative fan cultures, such as anime for the Naruto Shippuden collaboration, it aims to refresh traditional football gear into a stylish form. Genoa CFC Home Kit

Kappa and Genoa CFC’s ongoing partnership kicked off this year with the reveal of the team’s 2026/27 Home Kit. In contrast to the previous Home jersey, which adopted a minimal look, the featured shirt combines a piqué collar, as well as running blue and red stripes to create a distinct ‘90s aesthetic that pays homage to the team’s victory in a major international tournament 35 years ago.

Tunisia National Football Team Collection

From Italy to Tunisia, the brand looked to the emblematic Eagle of Carthage for the design of the country’s kit collection. On one white and another red shirt, a feather pattern is printed in panels along the sleeves, sitting next to the Kappa Omni logo, while for the pre-match jersey, the style evolves with a two-tone color palette housing the word “Tunisia” embroidered in bold.

Naruto Shippuden Jersey Collection

A special collaboration with European sneaker retailer Courir saw Kappa connect the worlds of football and anime in a Naruto Shippuden capsule collection. Launched back in June, the limited-edition range features several jerseys with graphic patterns based on the series’ iconic characters, including Kurama, Rasengan, and Kyubi.

Genoa CFC Third Kit

Following the release of the 2026/27 Genoa Home Kit, Kappa served up a more playful Third Kit for the local team. With nautical-style stripes, the shirt explores the city’s maritime history through a reimagining of rossoblù – a group of Italian clubs that typically wear red or blue for their team kit. Look a little closer, and you’ll also spot a small Union Jack flag adorning the back to honor Genoa CFC’s founding fathers.

Gyra Football Boot

At a high time for ultra sporty football boots, Kappa went against the grain with its new Gyra football boot. The pared-back silhouette is shaped in a similar way to cycling shoes with natural leather, debossed circular patterns, and asymmetric lacing, illuminating the brand’s Made in Italy archives and Italian cycling heritage.
