The Nike LeBron 2 "Beast" Returns This Year
The sought-after player exclusive is finally receiving a retail release.

LeBron James is one of Nike Basketball’s longest-running partners, with James having signed a lifetime deal with the Swoosh back in 2015. As a result, King James has been treated like royalty with not only a whopping 21 signature shoes in his numbered Nike LeBron line, but all sorts of player exclusive looks as well. Looking back, one pair that has always stood out is the Nike LeBron 2 “Beast,” which never saw a proper retail release. However, it’s time for that to change.
Last year, the rumor mill touched on the LeBron 2 “Beast” hitting shelves for 2023 and now Nike has confirmed this with the reveal of its official imagery. The animal-themed shoe sees its faux cheetah and zebra hair spread across the upper to create an attention-grabbing presentation on the bulky silhouette. As these two elements go back and forth, red notes chime in courtesy of the strap’s Swoosh and LeBron logo, as well as the heel’s signature detail and Swoosh on opposing sides. Shimmering gold accents appear at the heel with a “LEBRON” hit visible while black and off-white share space at the sole unit to complete the pair.
At the time of writing, we’re awaiting word from Nike Basketball regarding the launch procedure of the Nike LeBron 2 “Beast.” Stay tuned for updates as the pair is currently expected to touch down on shelves via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $250 USD on November 16.
