Danny Brown Announces Seventh Studio Album 'Quaranta'
Kicking it off with new single “Tantor” produced by The Alchemist.
Detroit’s Danny Brown has officially confirmed his seventh studio album is on the way. Entitled Quaranta, Brown has not only revealed the album’s tracklist and release date, but he has already kickstarted the album’s rollout by dropping off “Tantor,” a punchy track produced by The Alchemist.
Quaranta, which means 40 in Italian, is described as a “spiritual bookend” to Brown’s breakout album XXX, as well as a “meditative follow-up” to this year’s SCARING THE HOES with JPEGMAFIA.
The album boasts a slew of notable contributors, in the realms of lyricism and production. Production credits span some of Brown’s seasoned collaborators, including DJ and producer SKYWLKR, The Alchemist, Quelle Chris, Paul White and the Bruiser Brigade crew, with lyrical contributions coming from Bruiser Wolf and MIKE.
