Skepta Provides a First Look at the New PUMA VELOPHASIS
With the Boy Better Know general wearing the sneaker at Paris Fashion Week.

A batch of new images have surfaced of Skepta during his time at Paris Fashion Week — and he has been spotted in a brand new PUMA sneaker.
The news of Skepta premiering a new PUMA sneaker is no surprise since his Big Smoke Corporation signed a partnership with the German Sports brand last year. However, it may seem a little strange right now, following Skep’s long-time sneaker partnership with Nike. Over recent years, the Boy Better Know frontman has delivered several highly sought-after footwear silhouettes including special edition iterations of the Air Max 97, Shox, and even Air Max Tailwind V football boots.
However, if Big Smoke’s PUMA affiliation didn’t seem the real deal for you beforehand, this new sneaker is bound to turn heads. Entitled the VELOPHASIS — which hasn’t yet been confirmed as an official collaborative sneaker — the shoe takes inspiration from the early 2000s running silhouettes, however, this blacked-out design is decked out in new materials. For example, the shoe combines fabrications of mesh, and suede across its textured panels, while its rugged shape shows slight similarities to PUMA’s classic COMPLETE line, or even ASICS’ Kiko Kostadinov silhouette.
You can take a closer look at the new PUMA VELOPHASIS above and be sure to keep an eye on the official PUMA website for further release details.
