New Balance 550 Surfaces in "Pine Green"

Arriving with suede hits.

Continuing to grow its expansive lineup of 550s, New Balance introduces a new iteration of the hoops sneakers dressed in natural “Pine Green” hues. The particular shade of green bears a close resemblance to a pair of highly-coveted Aimé Leon Dore 550s released back in 2020.

Giving off a retro aesthetic, uppers are finished in a creamy mix of perforated and smooth leather while dark green hits are fixed on the side “N” logos, 550 notations, and suede collar overlays. Black hues stretch from the inner lining to the heel section and additional details include classic basketball motifs on the tongue tabs and NB monograms on the heel counter. Rounding out the look are white midsoles and two-tone, non-marking rubber outsoles.

Take a closer look at the New Balance “Pine Green” above and expect the pairs to arrive in the coming weeks via New Balance and select retailers for $120 USD.

Elsewhere in footwear, here’s a first look at the Bodega x Saucony 3D Grid Hurricane.
