LEMAIRE FW23 Is a Lesson on Effortless Everyday Elegance
Presented in a runway experience that mimics the metropolitan streets.

From the moment the show began, LEMAIRE‘s Fall/Winter 2023 show was an experience like no other. Readying attendees for a cold winter day in Paris, each showgoer received a wool and cashmere blanket scarf to keep warm while the show began.
Taking notes from the immersive experience from the SS23 collection where audiences were able to walk through the collection, as opposed to the traditional seating format, LEMAIRE continued to create an experience conducive to seeing its clothing worn by everyday people, doing everyday things. Unlike a traditional runway show where one model walks the show one by one, the models are seen taking various strides walking back and forth, interacting with one another, creating a natural scene often seen in metropolitan streets.
LEMAIRE wants the audience to envision its collection in use in an everyday manner. Layering was a major focal point in the collection, with overcoats paired with jumpsuits and cozy sweaters and oversized scarves with puffer jackets. Boxy silhouettes continue to reign king, as the collection boasts comfort and effortless elegance. Bomber leather jackets with exaggerated lapels in wool prepare for the colder weather ahead. Monochromatic suiting are still a common motif amongst the Lemaire look, with this collection focusing on earth tones for a subtle look.
