Art is typically appreciated in its final form. The process to get to that mark, however, remains one of the real points of enjoyment for the artist themselves as they create magic from one sketch to another. Behind the curtain of film and television, concept art has always played an essential role at the literal act of world-building — from Ralph McQuarrie‘s iconic work for Star Wars to the countless Marvel and DC Comics cel-animations.

Fans of Batman: The Animated Series from the 1990s, now is your chance to own original concept art from the 82 episode collection. There is a wealth of artwork to choose from, containing some of the comics most cherished heroes and villains — Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl, to The Joker, Two-Face and Penguin.

Prices vary from roughly $300 to $450 USD for the work itself on Choice Fine Art and $500 USD on Uncrate for select pieces that come in a white wooden frame. Each artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity from Warner Bros.
