The adidas Originals Forum is by and large a staple of the sneaker society’s rotation, appearing in general release and collaborative guises fit for all occasions. Now, the Three Stripes aims to take its Forum 84 Low off-piste with a tactile “Camp” makeover.

Arriving in a bold shade of “Collegiate Gold,” the Forum 84 Low Camp combines leather and nylon on the shoe’s upper for a design more workwear-inspired than anything that’s ever graced the silhouette before. A padded collar, a tongue strap as per usual, webbing heel pulls, and the thematic continuation onto the laces that emulate the stitched webbing, all bring the pair further into the technical realm, while other elements provide a direct nod.

As part of the “Camp” rework, adidas Originals applies elasticated loops on the lower section of the uppers, implying one could thread laces through them for extra foot-hugging support.

The adidas Originals Forum 84 Low Camp in “Collegiate Gold” retails for $130 USD and can be bought from retailers such as Très Bien now.
