Whether it be ready-to-wear pieces or eye-catching accessories, Acne Studios succeeds in presenting multifaceted cultural wonder. In this vain, the Stockholm-based brand has updated its Japanese-inspired Musubi bags for the Spring/Summer 2023 season.

Making its debut in 2017, the Musubi bag is inspired by the knot style of traditional Japanese obi sashes. Since Acne Studios presented its supple and versatile creation, it has undergone several fabric/design transformations – appearing in woven, monochrome, multicolored and embellished versions. Now for SS23, the Musubi bags take form in vintage tie-dye style designs in shades of charcoal gray, burnt sand, dusty blue, indigo and sea foam green. The two bleached tie-dye designs come in the Musubu Mini shoulder bag and Musubi midi bag variations.

The attention to light-hearted textural designs does not end there as the offering also includes a light-wash denin Musubi mini bag. Alongside its soft texture are details like contrast stitching and distressed fabrics. Even though SS23 brings a new level to the Musubi bag, the design also comes in classic leather in shades of camel brown and black.

Take a look at the offering in the gallery above. Acne Studios’ SS23 Musubi bags are available now online.

In related news, AMBUSH® releases part two of its Levi’s collaboration.
