First Look at the Nike Dunk Low "TSU Tigers"
Part of Nike’s celebration of historically Black colleges and universities.

Nike has a lengthy history collaborating with its university partners. While the Swoosh is best known for its projects with schools such as the University of North Carolina and the University of Oregon, it doesn’t hesitate to connect with lesser known institutions. Now, it looks to have a pack of Dunk Low colorways releasing in celebration of historically Black colleges and universities. Spotlighted here, a collaborative Tennessee State University Tigers pair is on the way alongside rumored colorways for Clark Atlanta University and Florida A&M University.
With the Nike Dunk Low “TSU Tigers,” a standard leather upper features a black base covered by red and blue overlays, white Swooshes and a yellow heel tab. Rather than the standard “NIKE” text, the year “1912” is embroidered at the heel in red, a callout to TSU’s founding year. The school’s logo lands on the tongue while a tiger print outfits the laces and sockliner which reads “TIGER PRIDE,” completing the collaborative detailing for this pair.
Release for the Nike Dunk Low “TSU Tigers” and the rest of the HBCU colorways has not yet been announced by Nike. Look for it to hit shelves later this year via the Swoosh and select retailers as classes start for the 2022-2023 academic year.
In other footwear news, it looks like Nike is raising the price of its beloved Dunk line, the second price increase for the silhouette this year.
