An Official Look at the MMW NIKE ZOOM 005 Slide
The two launch colorways hit shelves next week.
After an exciting debut surrounding 1017 ALYX 9SM’s Spring/Summer 2023 show, Matthew M Williams’ MMW NIKE ZOOM 005 Slide is now set to release. The initial triple black colorway and follow-up “Light Bone” are the launch options while the more recently teased “Volt/Black” is expected to hit shelves later in the year. This design is the latest entry in the ongoing partnership between Matthew M Williams and Nike, following the Nike Zoom MMW 4 which debuted in late 2020.
In continuation of the slip-on craze, the MMW NIKE ZOOM 005 Slide offers a complex look on a simple concept. Both colorways make use of a dual-foam outsole that is strengthened by a stability plate. Perforations throughout the upper provide an eye-catching appearance while also offering ventilation. “Light Bone” starts with its signature hue at the upper and footbed while silver hardware accents the white sole unit, whereas an all-black approach hits the “Black” colorway. A co-branded carrying bag is included for travel to round out each pair.
An early launch of the MMW NIKE ZOOM 005 Slide in “Light Bone” and “Black” is slated for September 9 via 1017 ALYX 9SM. Check out both colorways above and look out for a full release in the coming months.
