Alessandro Sartori continues to bring the 112-year-old luxury Italian label Zegna into the contemporary realm with hits such as its Spring/Summer 2023 show, partnerships with Real Madrid, and now the release of Fall/Winter 2022‘s Triple Stitch Sneaker. It all started with its 2020 Fear of God collaboration, catapulting the traditional house into a world more familiar with streetwear, and this elevated thread now informs much of the brand’s aesthetic.

The Triple Stitch Sneaker echoes this ideology, born as an icon that represents Oasi Zegna while simultaneously offering something transformative for its audience old and new. Per the brand, the sneaker “continues to accomplish all the needs of a versatile everyday shoe celebrated for its softness, lightness and multifunctional wearability,” and it manages this thanks to its minimal design done up in luxurious materials.

Each season brings the shoe in new fabrics and colors that explore the silhouette’s “signature triple crossing-elastic detail for an easy slip-on fit.” Here, we find the pair in everything from white deerskin leather with a grain pebble finish and another in grey mélange leather, as well as pairs in vibrant takes like amber yellow suede, tobacco suede, and dark purple suede.

Regardless of the colorway, the shoe offers a lightweight construction that can be worn casually or dressed up with a suit, and matches this diverse nature with its formal slip-on cues and fine craftsmanship with a low-profile white rubber sole unit.

Zegna’s Triple Stitch Sneaker for FW22 can be seen in the gallery above and is available online and in-stores now for $890 USD.
