IUTER Celebrates 20 Years With FW22 "EUROIUTER" Collection
Enlisting ‘Teletubbies,’ various creatives and the snowboarding brand Capita.
Milanese imprint IUTER turns 20 this year, and to celebrate its legacy the brand has released its Fall/Winter 2022 collection, “EUROIUTER.” This season, IUTER ups the ante by enlisting Daniel Sansavini, Filippo Antonioli, Valentina De Zanche, Tanino Liberatore, No Text and Visual Kulture for their creative inputs, while collaborations with the Inner Light collective, photographer Alessandro “Zuek” Simonetti, Teletubbies and the snowboard brand Capita all make an appearance for what might be IUTER’s most dedicated, comprehensive and referential collection in its two-decade-long history.
Vintage logos, quotes, graphics, and original pieces from the IUTER archive make a return, sitting alongside the aforementioned collaborations for a collection that covers all the bases. In a lookbook shot by frequent fashion photography partner Piotr Niepsuj (having worked with the likes of OAMC), we find a standout leather jacket with its roots in motorbiking sporting the brand’s moniker contrastingly on the front and again as a crest on the rear, while a heavy graphic watercolor painting decorates intarsia knits. A selection of hoodies branded up with the logo can be found, but it’s pieces like the baby blue button-down shirt, crystal-embellished “Have a Nice Millenium” sweater, Teletubbies tee, varsity and puffer that really make this collection pop.
