BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS x Yuko Kondo Liven Up Staple Pieces
Swapping models for graphic animals.
Japanese menswear label BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS has teamed up with Yuko Kondo for its latest collection. By enlisting the London-based illustrator and art director, the collection offers a fun take on staple pieces.
Making the collection is a range of casual garments like coats, jackets, cardigans, hoodies, relaxed pants, sweatpants and t-shirts. Outwear pieces serve as a collection highlight with a stone blue waterproof puffer, deep olive-brown wool jacket, aviator style jackets with contrasting collars and more. Cardigans feature classic fall-inspired knitted and patchwork designs. Additionally, the brand’s name is seen in a bold logo print on select jackets and more.
What make’s the collaboration’s lookbook particularly striking is the array of animal-inspired graphic illustrations that substitute the models’ heads and hands. With the multicolored visuals, the lookbook showcases Kondo’s multifaceted influence that blends his Japanese heritage and European lifestyle.
Check out the collaboration in the gallery above that is set to release soon on the BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS website.
