Michelob ULTRA Raises a Toast to Serena Williams' Career With Limited Edition Cans
Celebrating each of her major singles titles in Williams’ tennis career.
Michelob ULTRA is celebrating the GOAT of tennis, Serena Williams with a new release of their 24 limited-edition Serena cans.
Fans will get a chance to raise a toast to the brand’s tennis ambassador while commemorating her 27-year professional career. In her almost three decades of playing, Williams has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles. By honoring her legacy, Michelob ULTRA is giving fans a chance to relive some of her greatest wins, all whilst celebrating Williams both on and off the court. The cans each feature a black-and-white image of Williams most iconic moments during her Grand Slams wins including the 1999 US Open, all the way until her 2015 French Open.
Williams played her final match at the US Open just last weekend, where she lost to Ajla Tomljanovic in the third round. The tennis GOAT caps off her career at 40-years-old, with a final twirl as she exited the Arthur Ashe Stadium after a 7-5, 6-7 6-1 loss. After the match, many fans including LeBron James, Tiger Woods, Michelle Obama and more took to Twitter to congratulate her on an outstanding career.
