The New Balance 2002R is Decked Out in Tasty "Truffle"
Featuring deep maroon overlays and “Rich Earth” leather trimmings.
New Balance will continue to push out its most heavy-hitting models, proving that when something is done right, it becomes unstoppable. Take, for example, the imprint’s 2002R silhouette, which has received a whirlwind of simplistic colorways as of late – from a “Rust Oxide” build to a “Calm Taupe” interpretation. Now, the lifestyle model emerges with a tasty “Truffle” arrangement.
The New Balance 2002R has been decked out in a deep maroon-colored base that envelops the model at every turn. The mudguards, medials and heels see a suede application, while durable mesh underlays decorate the toe boxes and collars along with “Rich Earth” leather trimmings. The same muddy hue hits the medial N logos, and silver heel tabs make their way atop branded hits, while reflective ornamentation sets its mark below the laces. New Balance symbols also decorate the tongues, while the model number is stamped at the ankles.
N-ERGY-infused midsoles receive a split-style design in white and creamy yellow. Black rubber outsoles complete the look.
The New Balance 2002R “Truffle” is expected to drop later this year via New Balance and select retailers for $140 USD.
In other news, Nike’s Air Kukini is glowing in “Black Neon.”
