For Nike, 2022 serves as a milestone year for many aspects of the company, most notably marking 50 years of business for the Swoosh. Another anniversary being celebrated by the brand is the 40th year of the Air Force 1. Between celebratory colorways and a new silhouette, the Air Force 1 Mid React, Nike has shown love to the Air Force 1 throughout the year. After beginning with a “Black Neon” colorway, the Air Force 1 Mid React returns in a calm “Summit White.”

Absent of much color, this “Summit White” emphasizes the silhouette’s unique styling. The Air Force 1 Mid React ditches the typical all-leather upper and instead balances leather at the forefoot and a transparent mesh towards the heel, including at the React foam-infused sole unit. A heel strap and sizable pull tab add to the style’s build while white covers the entirety of the shoe in this “Summit White” colorway.

The Swoosh has yet to share a release date for the Air Force 1 Mid React “Summit White.” However, take an official look at the pair above and keep an eye out for Nike and select retailers to release this colorway in the coming months.

Elsewhere in the world of footwear, Nike celebrates 2002’s FIFA World Cup with the Air Max 97 “나이키 2002.”
