Since the introduction of Adidas Originals’ forward-thinking NMD silhouette in 2015, the German sportswear trailblazer has continued to disrupt the world of sport with innovative creations that stand alone. Six years later, the Trefoil brand presents the silhouette’s third edition made for global youth with a rebellious mindset.
The NMD V3 maintains its overall design identity, yet boasts a variety of upgrades that give it a new life. Through a modified lens, adidas pulls out the all-new sneaker crafted for the great outdoors. The NMD V3 features a re-engineered mesh upper for increased breathability made of 50% reused plastic waste, while solid tonal overlays run across the mudguards and into the quarters. The former also sees contrasting detailing along its perimeter.
Rubber Three Stripes grace the profiles while semi-translucent heel caps dress the rears and clear TPU moulds shield the midsole plaques. Branded pull tabs make their traditional appearance on the tongues and tails. The new silhouette is completed with striped lace loops, rope laces and full-length BOOST sole units for all-day comfort.
Arriving in a wide selection of colorways, the adidas Originals NMD V3 will be available for purchase via adidas and select retailers on August 16 for $160 USD.
