Too Hot Recruits Drax to Customize Archive Stone Island Pieces
Reworking jackets from 1988.
London-based vintage specialist Too Hot has announced a new partnership with legendary graffiti artist Drax. The collaboration sees Drax bring his signature style to a limited run of PVC rain jackets from Stone Island‘s Spring/Summer 1988 collection.
The project builds on Drax’s relationship with Stone Island, which includes a long-running love affair with the brand and his eventual inclusion in the Storia book. The artist’s graffiti appears across a number of jackets from the late ’80s, adorning red and blue pieces with the style that has made him a well-known name since the mid 1980s.
Too Hot is due to release the collection at a studio sample sale on July 9. The brand also created a short video to announce the collaboration.
