Nike is bringing back one of its most iconic retro iterations this year. The upcoming release sees the Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 OG arrive in a “True Red” color scheme, reminiscent of the one worn by NBA veteran Brent Barry, aka Bones, during the 1996 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. That year, Barry won the competition in these exact shoes.

The sportswear giant reaches into its archives to bring forward the Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 dressed in white, true red and black. The clean white and red are seen across the panels, featuring a white leather upper that is paired with red overlays and across the Air unit. The Swoosh goes across the toe as well as seen on the heel tab and midfoot shank plate. Black outlines the panels and sits atop a white rubber outsole to complete the shoe.

The Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 OG “True Red” is slated to arrive in Fall 202 in select retailers and on Nike.

Elsewhere in footwear, the Nike Air Force 1 pays tribute to “LA Flea” markets.
