West London Brand VENTED Presents Its Paris-Inspired Debut Collection for SS22
Taking inspiration from French icon Theirry Henry and the classic movie ‘La Haine.’

West London-born label VENTED has previously been best known for its hand-casted, mini concrete and skate-orientated sculptures that have made their way across some of the major retailers in the U.K. Now the brand is turning its head further into the fashion world with its debut lookbook following its recent pop-up store collaboration and art presentation with Forever Good during Paris Fashion Week.
VENTED’s debut collection labeled “THIS IS NOT SPORTSWEAR” looks into the impact of sports on contemporary streetwear. The main icon included in the collection is former Arsenal and France forward Thierry Henry following the striker’s impact on Arsenal’s 2003/2004 invincible season. The Henry-inspired T-shirt debuted in Paris and nods to his role in the 1998 World Cup where Henry himself lead his country to victory.
Accompanying the rest of the warm-weather-ready collection, the French 1995-released La Haine movie is also referenced. The cult classic film documents the lifestyle of three youths in the suburbs of Paris, which is the same underlying theme connected to the whole capsule. Rounding off the collection, VENTED also includes a selection of shirts, tees, crewnecks, and more with a customary ‘V’ logo.
You can have a closer look at VENTED’s “THIS IS NOT SPORTSWEAR” collection above and it will be available on the official VENTED website in the coming weeks.
