Official Images of the Nike Air Max Scorpion "Black"
The first official look at the new Air Max model.
While Nike’s success with its classic models has remained consistent for decades, the Swoosh continues to expand its range every year. Its latest expansion takes place on the famous Nike Air Max line with the introduction of the Air Max Scorpion. An early look popped up at the end of 2021 but Nike has now published official imagery of the sneaker in “Black.”
The focus of this Air Max is easy to spot with its oversized sole unit. Offering “tomorrow’s comfort today,” the Air Max Scorpion carries an upgraded full-length Air Max sole. The upper is reminiscent of the Air VaporMax with its single-piece Flyknit construction. In “Black” the knit upper carries a tonal look in shades of black while blue and purple combine for the branding and sole unit to accent the look.
A firm release date for the Nike Air Max Scorpion has not been announced. However, expect the bold new silhouette to hit shelves later this year via Nike and select retailers.
