Official Look at the Stone Island x New Balance Tokyo Design Studio FuelCell RC Elite V2
Dropping in two vibrant colorways.
Over the years streetwear giant Stone Island has connected with other brands selectively and with great success, including previous footwear releases with Nike and an often revisited relationship with Supreme. Now, the focus has shifted to a partnership with New Balance. Reuniting in 2021 with an announcement of the two entities working together long-term, we’ve already seen plans start to unfold with the release of the Stone Island x New Balance Tokyo Design Studio RC Elite SI.
Now, carrying over the duo’s first look, the FuelCell RC Elite V2 arrives in two bold looks that leverage the revealed knit uppers with contrasting colors. The first opts to combine a neon green 3D knit upper with burgundy synthetic overlays while the other combines New Balance’s classic gray on top of a strong red. Each include key technology such as FuelCell cushioning and a full-length carbon plate to emphasize comfort. Completing the look, the standout forefoot branding of the Stone Island compass rose and a New Balance graphic are included once again.
Release for the Stone Island x New Balance Tokyo Design Studio FuelCell RC Elite V2 begins June 30 via Stone Island at a price of $220 USD. It will later be available for purchase from New Balance on July 5 with select retailers such as HBX carrying the pairs starting July 8.
