Warner Bros. and Reebok Set to Expand Its Nostalgic Looney Tunes Footwear Collection

Reebok has shown a penchant for collaborating with franchises that elicit nostalgia from the ’90s era. We’ve seen the sportswear giant link up with The Flintstones and the Power Rangers in recent memory, and now it’s set to expand its range with the Looney Tunes. This new assemblage serves as a follow-up to its inaugural capsule that launched exclusively in China earlier in the year.

There’s a handful of sneaker offerings that are incorporated into this collection. First on the roster is the Classic Leather Legacy AZ, which is an overt nod to Bugs Bunny as it comes equipped with hairy suede uppers and springy features that are meant to mimic the bouncy abilities of the “wascally wabbit.” Next in line is the Hurkiaze II which is fashioned in both low and mid-cut forms, the former paying homage to Wile E. Coyote as it is adorned with “BOOM!” graphics while the latter represents the Tasmanian Devil as it is fitted with brown suede base layers. Road Runner is portrayed in this batch through the Instapump Fury 95 as its top half comes outfitted with blue to channel his feathers as well as his signature “Beep Beep” quotes. The Instapump Fury Zone has been crafted to symbolize Marvin the Martian’s explosive ray gun as the liner calls out his weapon’s green bolt and the upper is ornamented with laser beam-inspired hues. Wrapping up the kicks portion are the Club C and Nano X1, the first-mentioned being an overt tribute to the Looney Tunes’ loudest props as their explosive graphics arrive on the heels and uppers. The latter has received a sleek makeover that is emblematic of Sylvester the Cat.

Dropping alongside the sneakers is an assembly of themed apparel pieces that includes a coach jacket, crewnecks, tees, hoodies and pants.

The Reebok x Looney Tunes collection will be available exclusively for Reebok UNLOCKED members on May 23 before becoming globally available beginning May 26 on Reebok.
