The Air Jordan 1 Low FlyEase Has Levelled up With Its New "Gym Red" Colorway

After the Jordan Brand created its Air Jordan 1 Low FlyEase, it was introduced as the everyday sneaker, designed to tackle day-to-day activities while also merging a similar look to the OG low-cut Air Jordan 1 with FlyEase elements. The model was then soon announced to be taking on a “Biohack” colorway, and now the silhouette is adding a new look to the mix, with a fresh take on the “Gym Red” color palette.

This new Air Jordan 1 Low’s upper combines white toeboxes along with quarter panels with red mudguards, eyestays and Swooshes. Red branding has been used on the black nylon tongue and black leather heel tab to allow for the red and white to meet again on the midsole and outsole to complete the color scheme.

Through using the functional FlyEase fit system, it has also included a zipper that reaches the medial collar to the lateral heel, allowing wearers to slide their foot into the sneaker by simply loosening or tightening the zipper. The fit is customisable, too: see the Velcro eye stays on the lateral half that work in tandem with the elastic ‘laces’ to keep the foot firmly supported and in place.

The Air Jordan 1 Low FlyEase “Gym Red” will be available on Nike’s official webstore on May 24, prices at $130 USD.
