Opening Ceremony's "School Girls" Include Chloë Sevigny, Solange, Björk and More
The SS22 drop includes illustration-adorned T-shirts, denim jackets and shirt dresses.
Humberto Leon and Carol Lim‘s imprint Opening Ceremony teased its school uniform-tinged Spring/Summer 2022 collection earlier this year, and now it has released the “School Girls” capsule from this season.
Presenting a shirt dress, cropped T-shirt, and a standard tee in white with a black print, and a caban denim jacket in blue denim with white printing on it, the “School Girls” collection looks to highlight some of the brand’s closest friends. Notably, it spotlights Chloë Sevigny, who recently became the star of Supreme’s Harmony Korine-honoring Gummo collaboration tee, as well as Solange, Karen O, Björk, Natasha Lyonne and Ali Wong.
The depictions of each star are illustrative, seeing the roster of friends dressed in a school uniform-inspired outfit littered with some of Opening Ceremony’s own pieces, such as the leather sports jacket. Aside from the graphic, pieces such as the denim jacket sport a leather patch on the rear, while the T-shirt features drop shoulders and comes in an oversized fit.
