Reebok's Second 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' Collection Focuses on Rita Repulsa, Rito Revolto, and Lord Zedd
Launching with a five-piece apparel collection.
Reebok has just announced the launch of its second collaboration with Hasbro’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Unlike the first collection, this new collection focuses on the series’ most notorious villains. The three villains translated into footwear are Rita Repulsa, Rito Revolto, and Lord Zedd.
Starting with the Instapump Fury Rita Repulsa, we see all the sorceress’ trademark details like the staff, pointed hair-cone hat, robe, and insoles with some imagery depicting Rita Repulsa’s sentiments towards the Power Rangers. Rito Revolto’s pair arrive on the Hurrikaze II where his half-camouflage-half-bone look is translated over the shoe’s premium leather and suede uppers. This sneaker is finished with a “Danger Ranger” skull and “Evil Space Alien” at the tongue. Finally, Lord Zedd makes his way onto the Answer IV. This rendition turns the basketball shoe into a sci-fi silhouette replicating Zordon’s archenemy’s silver armor, red muscles, and blue tubes. This shoe is finished with a number of images and references to Lord Zedd on the sockliner.
Priced at $200, $140, and $170 USD, respectively, this footwear collection is releasing alongside a five-piece apparel collection on March 25 over at Reebok.
