Acne Studios Goes to Music School for FW22 Face Collection
Introducing the “Rainbow Kids.”
Following up its recent Repurposed collection, Acne Studios has launched the latest installment of its Face line. The collection builds on last season’s school influence, introducing the “Rainbow Kids,” described as “self-expressive, gender-fluid, experimental teenagers” at music school.
The music school inspiration is referenced through the use of composers such as Handel, Mozart and Bach, who appear on rainbow colored pieces inspired by concert merchandise. Elsewhere, trousers come in faded pastel floral print and feature alongside checked shirts, colorful crochet sweaters and tie-dyed terrycloth jersey pieces.
The collection also covers outerwear, with quilted nylon jackets sporting a repeated pattern of Acne Studios’ Face motif, while padded bomber jackets and canvas coats showcase a more utilitarian influence. Rounding out the collection are accessories such as faux-fur hats, knitted beanies and plimsolls covered in marker pen.
The first release from the FW22 Face collection is available via all Acne Studios stores and through the brand’s web store now.
