PIET Unveils NBA Collaboration for Its 10th Anniversary

Paying tribute to the Bucks, Heat, Lakers, Nets and Suns.

PIET‘s 10th-anniversary NBA collaboration follows on from Spring/Summer 2020, when the former debuted its first NBA collaboration on the runway at Sao Paulo Fashion Week. For this one, Creative Director Pedro Andrade referenced nostalgia from his memories of the league, combining this with PIET’s ’90s streetwear elements.

PIET explored iconic logos and also represented key moments through paintings created by the artist Emerson Freire. The collection is composed of five capsules, each of them focused on staples including T-shirts, crewnecks, Harrington jackets, shorts, socks and beanies.

Speaking on the collaboration exclusively to HYPEBEAST Brasil, Andrade said: “Basketball is definitely my sport, the one I [have played] since my childhood. Collaborating with the biggest league in the world and reproducing those franchises with PIET’s vision are things I’ve always dreamed about. There is much more to come for this celebration year.”

PIET’s NBA collaboration hits PIET’s webstore on April 27.
