Patrón and John Geiger Celebrate Cinco de Mayo With Limited-Edition GF-01 Sneakers
Arriving with Patrón bee logos and green hues inspired by agave piña plants.

After turning its Nike lawsuit documents into an NFT series earlier this year, John Geiger now announces a footwear collaboration with premium tequila label Patrón. The duo has worked together in the past for apparel, and now joins forces once again to celebrate this year’s Cinco de Mayo with a limited-edition spin on Geiger’s signature GF-01 sneakers.
“I’m consistently inspired and impressed by Patrón. I loved working with them last year on our streetwear collection and this is another collaboration truly driven by passion,” said Geiger. “It was only fitting to go bigger and better for Cinco de Mayo with an epic sneaker drop that takes the designs we created with them last year to the next level. I was really inspired by the green that you’ll see in the leather detailing, evocative of the heart of Patrón, the agave piñas from the fields in Jalisco, Mexico.”
The upcoming pairs arrive in a colorway reminiscent of Patrón Silver tequila bottle, featuring a mix of sail white and lime green pebbled leather uppers with Geiger’s signature “g” logo along the sides and Patrón’s Bee motif sketched on the heel tab. The inner lining is found in cork brown, and crisp white soles complete the design.
The Patrón x John Geiger GF-01 sneakers are set to arrive on May 5, 5 p.m. EDT via John Geiger’s website for $250 USD.
