Offset Tattoos a Portrait of Virgil Abloh in Honor of the Designer
“Doing it for V.”

It comes as no surprise that the world still feels the loss of Virgil Abloh even months after his untimely death. Migos member has paid tribute to the fashion and design icon with a permanent tattoo.
Offset took to Instagram to share that he tattooed a portrait of a smiling Virgil wearing a Louis Vuitton LV Monogram t-shirt, accompanied with the caption, “Do it for ‘V’.” Offset had a very close relationship with Abloh, often seen attending his shows. He also supported Abloh by appearing on his final runway show for Louis Vuitton in Miami alongside Quavo and Kid Cudi. Offset paid tribute to his dear friend in an interview with Vogue after his death and shared how the designer impacted him,
“Virgil Abloh was the one who showed me what it means to have no limits. It’s his willingness to break the rules and do things people said they wouldn’t be able to do.
As far as I know, everyone who contacted him has been helped. From clothes to album covers or any new project. Most people who have reached that level don’t really help newcomers. But he was humble and was always trying to do something new.”
