Palace and Mercedes-AMG Come Together for Second Collaborative Car and Capsule Collection
Focusing on the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S, SL 63 4MATIC+, GT 63 4MATIC+ and G 63.

Following their monumental collaboration last year, Mercedes-AMG and Palace Skateboards have come together for their second collaborative car and capsule collection.
Presenting last year’s motorsport team-up at the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, the upcoming project moves from the racetrack to the street. Celebrating major cities, the four art cars of the second Mercedes-AMG x Palace collection are inspired by the cosmopolitan flair of London, Los Angeles, New York and Tokyo, the locations of Palace’s flagship locations. A campaign, running March 21-March 25, centered around the tagline “Affalterbach to the world” serves as a playful push of the home of Mercedes-AMG to be on par with the four pulsating metropolises.
The Mercedes-AMG A 45 S, Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4MATIC+, Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4MATIC+ and Mercedes-AMG G 63 have been reimagined by Lev Tanju and the Palace design team to celebrate London, Los Angeles, New York and Tokyo. Each one-off model was painted and customized at the AMG Performance Studio in Affalterbach. The cars feature seven-layer fade paint finishes with color-changing effects and co-branding emblems and logos. The interiors have also been outfitted with custom seat upholstery and door panels, special floor mats, head restrains and hand rests, along with cooperation logo LED door projectors.
Mercedes-AMG A 45 S PALACE Edition/”Tiger London”: The bold, multicolor paintwork, the large head of a white tiger on the bonnet and the large AMG emblem on the sides of the car pay homage to the vibrant and diverse custom car scene in the UK in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4MATIC+ PALACE Edition/”Sunset LA”: With paintwork that shimmers between bright yellow and deep red, the 2+2-seater roadster represents the perpetual Californian summer.
Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ PALACE Edition/”Neon Fade New York”: The color scheme, which transitions from black to neon yellow, represents the two sides of the megacity on the Hudson River. “The city that never sleeps” delivers a fascinating contrast between the rough pavements of some areas and the bright lights of directly neighboring districts.
Mercedes-AMG G 63 PALACE Edition/”Space Horse Tokyo”: The horse galloping through space on the vehicle’s flank pays tribute to the fantasy culture so popular in Japan.
The accompanying Mercedes-AMG x Palace Skateboards Second Capsule Collection draws a union between the sports and fashion world. Highlighting the commonalities of high-performance sports cars and street skateboarding: performance and speed; adrenaline and coolness. Building on the look of the Art Cars, the matching 23-piece range features jackets, gilets, hoodies, T-shirts, trousers, caps and beanies. Together the special range looks to offer functional everyday fashion oriented towards a “motor mechanic” look.
The Mercedes-AMG x Palace Skateboards Second Collection is set for both in-store and online releases starting March 25, 11 a.m. GMT and EDT on the brand’s official webstore, and in Japan on March 26, 11 a.m. JST on the Palace Japan webstore, and on the official “Palace_Skateboards” WeChat store March 26, 11 a.m. CST.
