UNIMATIC Drops Pair of Limited Edition Monochrome Dive Watches
The Italian brand is making just 900 pieces.
Italian watch brand UNIMATIC is expanding the Swiss Series it launched back January with two new dive watches.
The U1S-MP and U1S-MPN models are two new limited editions based on the brand’s U1-S series slim case and powered by Sellita’s SW200-1 automatic movement.
Both watches – which are water resistant to 300m/1000ft – feature a 60-minute unidirectional rotating timing bezel with subtle engraved markings, while hands, hour markers, logo and date are all picked out in white against a black dial for maximum legibility using Super-LumiNova C1.
The UNIMATIC U1S-MP features a brushed 40mm stainless steel case, while the U1S-MPN has been given a black DLC coating. The case is based on UNIMATIC’s Modello Uno, complete with drilled lugs, but 10% slimmer. Both watches are supplied on a black two-piece TPU strap as well as a black NATO fabric strap.
UNIMATIC is producing 500 pieces of the U1S-MP and 400 of the U1S-MPN with each watch individually numbered on its caseback and available now via UNIMATIC, priced €865 and €965 respectively (approximately $955 USD and $1,065 USD).
