After kicking off 2022 with a release alongside Awake NY, Lacoste collaborations look set to continue this year as the label has taken to social media to tease what looks like an upcoming partnership with world-renowned video game Minecraft.

The French sportswear label has replaced its crocodile logo profile picture on both Instagram and Twitter with that of a Minecraft-inspired pixelated iteration, with Minecraft tweeting a short GIF confirming the collaboration. Lacoste also shared a short video on its official Instagram account showing a Minecraft playing tennis character clad in the label’s clothing.

Seeing the skins on the characters we might expect an apparel collection, although details are set to be revealed this coming weekend at a Lacoste x Minecraft event being held in the French capital.

Watch this space for more information as it drops, but for now you can check out Dapper Dan and Gap’s SS22 collection.
