Following a handful of teasers towards the end of last week, Lacoste and Minecraft have now confirmed they are linking up for Spring/Summer 2022 to drop a unique collaboration designed to build bridges between two alternative worlds.

Officially unveiled at an event in the French capital over the weekend, the duo have come together to explore both the virtual and the real, focusing on the uniqueness of each and finding a way to better celebrate them.

Renowned gamers Atomicmari and Shubble were joined by music artist Brawk and video creator Smajor this weekend, to unveil Croco Island, an all-new Lacoste-inspired map developed especially for the occasion and available for free to gamers around the world.

The apparel collection itself merges the codes of both brands by dressing Lacoste staples like polos, sweatshirts and caps with pixelated Minecraft-esque iterations of its archetypal crocodile motif, alongside other unique designs.

The Lacoste x Minecraft collection is set to drop on March 16 and will be available via the Lacoste webstore, and in UK stores from March 23.
